Today we’ll learn some vocabulary related to eyes.

Oh no, I have bloodshot eyes again. I hope this isn’t anything serious like conjunctivitis. I get pinkeye from time to time because I love reading, romantic stories first of all.

I can’t decide which looks better, bulging eyes, like those of a frog, or sunken eyes, like the ones of my old dog.

When my friend looked at me with bleary eyes I told him to take an eye test because I was sure he had developed cataracts, but fortunately I was wrong.

There was something wrong with the village, which I realized after I saw the twentieth cross-eyed girl in only five minutes.

Yes, I remember the guy with the runny eyes. I thought he was just sensitive, but it turned out he suffered from a rare genetic disease.

The dog’s glassy eyes were looking at something lifelessly.

When my friend is tired, he always has those circles under his eyes. He looks like an elephant then.
