The adjective MELLOW, pronounced /ˈmɛloʊ/, means very calm and relaxed. Its comparative and superlative forms are mellower and mellowest respectively.

Here are some examples:
She was sitting in an armchair, in a mellow mood.
When I first met Anne, everything seemed to be upsetting her, but with age she became much mellower.
In informal language MELLOW also means relaxed from drinking alcohol or using drugs:
Some empty wine bottles were scattered on the floor and my friends all looked pretty mellow.
MELLOW may be also used to say that something has a pleasing rich flavor that develops over time or another pleasing feature.
I love this mellow cheese, can you get me some?
I think this color is too bright. In my opinion a mellower color would look better.
